The SB72W is the wall-mount version of Security Boss's SB72, a tougher take on the MaxSeal. It's built for dogs that stay outside and chew on their door, and for homes in far northern climates where it drops below -40°F. It comes with an aluminum tunnel you trim to your wall, seals and insulates like a MaxSeal, and locks with a security panel. Security Boss hand-builds each door to order in the USA.

How it's built

• Aluminum-clad insulated flap: a polycarbonate air-cell core, clad in aluminum on both sides and framed in aluminum channel on all edges.
• Stainless steel hinge in custom brass bushings for a quiet swing.
• Rare earth magnets along the bottom of the flap and frame for positive closing.
• Replaceable weather stripping on all sides of the swing-door frame.
• Trim-to-fit aluminum tunnel with carpet lining.
• Locking security panel that loads from the top, left or right.
• 10 frame colors.

Tunnel depth

• 10" tunnel: fits walls 2" to 10" thick.
• 16" tunnel: for walls thicker than 10".

Sizes

How to measure: choose a flap 1.5" to 2" taller than your dog's shoulder height. Security Boss suggests adding at least 1/8" to the rough cut's width and height, and having the door on hand before you cut the wall.

FAQs

SB72W or MaxSeal PRO for Walls?

Choose the SB72W for chewers and extreme cold, since its flap is clad in aluminum. The MaxSeal PRO for Walls also insulates well and comes in more sizes, from Small to Behemoth, with single or dual flaps.

What if my wall is thicker than 16"?

Contact us with your wall thickness. A trim-to-fit wall tunnel is also sold separately.

Is there a door-mount version?

Yes, the SB72 for Doors.

Can parts be replaced?

Yes. The main components can be replaced or upgraded. Extra interior flaps can be added when you order, and we sell Security Boss parts separately.
