How to measure your sash window
- Open the sash window.
- Measure from left to right inside the channel the sash travels up and down in. Measure into the deepest part of the channel, because the insert's spring-loaded end expands into it.
- Choose the Window Width Range that contains your measurement. If it falls in two ranges, pick the one that leaves some room above and below your number, so the insert can compress to go in and still expand for a tight fit.
