This tool is awesome to help keep my Leonberger as beautiful as a show dog! The hair on his back hind is difficult to comb and this blower helps keep it looking beautiful. We are both better for having this tool in our box.

An absolute MUST to have for grooming! Wish I had this years ago...

For 25 years I have been using my Mini K-9 dryer and it did a fine job. I groom several dogs (other than my own 3 Standard Poodles), and found that I spent so much tedious dry time - you all know what I mean.
The K-91 dryer has made a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE in dry time - cutting it in half!! It has much stronger forced air that is warm, it is a lot quieter, has two motors (that suit my amperage). I couldn't be happier with this purchase. All home groomers should have one - really!

I've used K9 Dryers for years. I use a k9 III at work and wanted one for personal use at home. Settled on getting a K9 I. I'm satisfied with the power, temperature & drying time. The biggest difference (outside of power) I've noticed between the 3 and 1 is how hot the tube gets; 1 stays tolerable, but the 3 can get pretty uncomfortably hot.
-- Any time our K9 IIIs needed maintenance at work (which was rare), it was easy and quick to set an appointment and have them repaired the next day. I think having a smaller unit as a back up in case your main unit needs maintenance is a great plan if you're using them for your business.

Warranty Details

Limited Warranty

Every new dryer and motor purchase includes a limited warranty covering workmanship and motor defects for 2 years from the purchase date. Other parts are covered for 90 days. Warranty coverage is valid only if the motor-turbine has not been opened or modified. Customers pay shipping to the service center, while approved claims receive free return shipping within the U.S. International shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Extended Warranty

Our extended warranty adds 1 or 2 extra years of coverage for motor and workmanship defects beyond the standard warranty. Other parts are covered for 180 days. Coverage applies only to unmodified motor-turbines. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to the service center, while approved U.S. return shipping is free. International shipping costs are not covered.
