A French door dog door without cutting your door: Security Boss builds a new dual-pane glass panel with the pet door already installed, and you swap it in for the glass in your French door. It's a do-it-yourself install and it's reversible: keep your original glass and you can put it back later. Security Boss builds each panel by hand, to order, in the USA.
The pet door: Security Boss SB Standard
- Security Boss's economy pet door, built on its aluminum Standard frame.
- Weatherized flap that resists yellowing and shrinking, mounted on the exterior frame for weather protection.
- Single or dual flap.
- Slide-in 1/4" ABS thermo-insulated locking security panel to close the door.
- White frame with a white security panel.

Will it fit my French door?
These glass panels replace the glass in French doors whose glass is held in by a plastic frame. You can usually tell two ways:
- On the inside of the door, the plastic frame around the glass is held on with screws and sits higher than the rest of the door surface.
- The glass itself measures 21.75" x 65.75" or 23.75" x 65.75".
The panels won't fit every French door: only doors whose glass is one of those two sizes and is held in by that kind of plastic frame. Not sure? Send us a photo of the inside of your door and the glass measurement before you order.
