How to measure your sliding window
- Measure the height of your sliding window opening, inside the track (channel).
- Choose the Window Height Range that contains your measurement, and enter your exact opening height in the box above Add to Cart.
The top of the insert is a spring-loaded section that looks like an "H" from the side. It is 11/16" wide, so it fits most sliding window and door tracks, and the spring gives a 3.25" adjustment range for a snug fit. Security Boss window inserts fit channels that are at least 1" wide.
