The "bite guard" for the Security Boss Insulated Guillotine Dog Door, specifically referred to as the Cable Bite Guard, is a protective accessory designed to prevent dogs from chewing or damaging the cables connected to the guillotine door.
It is made of heavy-duty 20-gauge aluminum, providing a durable and long-lasting shield that covers the cables and connectors.
This guard spans the entire width of the guillotine door, including the side rails, and is secured into the wall on either side of the rails. This setup ensures that mischievous dogs cannot access the cables, reducing the need for frequent replacements and repairs.
The Cable Bite Guard is available in two sizes: the Regular, which spans a maximum of 20 inches, and the Large, which spans up to 25 inches. Both sizes are designed for easy installation with just four screws.
