Shipping Information

We provide FREE shipping within the lower 48 states. However, additional fees may apply for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or other international locations.

Large or bulky pet doors, such as the Patio Dog Door, are not eligible for free shipping. Shipping costs for these items will be calculated at checkout.

Once you place an order, we’ll provide an estimated shipping and delivery timeframe based on item availability and the shipping method you select. Depending on your chosen carrier, estimated delivery dates may also be shown on the shipping quotes page.

Please note that many of our shipping rates are calculated by weight. The weight of each item is listed on its product detail page. In line with carrier policies, all weights are rounded up to the nearest full pound.

Warranty Policy

All Security Boss products, parts, and components are covered by a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for six (6) years from the purchase date, provided they are used under normal conditions and remain with the original buyer.

If a defect is discovered, Security Boss will repair or replace the item at no cost, in line with the manufacturer’s liability limits, as long as the claim does not exceed the original product’s value. A valid proof of purchase must be included with any return in order for the claim to be processed. Full warranty details are available here.

Return/Refund Policy

You may return any new, unopened, or uninstalled item within 30 days of shipment, subject to a 16% restocking fee. Returns requested between 30 and 60 days require approval and will be charged a 26% restocking fee.

Security Boss products may also be returned in their original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement. If the return is due to our mistake, such as sending the wrong product or a defective item, we will cover the return shipping cost.

Refunds are typically processed within four (4) weeks from the time you hand your package to the return shipper, though many are completed sooner. This timeframe accounts for shipping the item back to us (5–10 business days), processing the return once received (3–5 business days), and your bank finalizing the refund (5–10 business days).

If you need to make a return, please contact us with your order number and details about the item. We’ll quickly send you instructions on how to return products from your order.
