PlexiDor Wall Series Pet Door

Over the course of 40+ years, my husband and I have had 2-3 dogs at all times, lived in 7 different houses , all with various, inferior dogs doors until we finally discovered PlexiDor, so far superior in every feature as prior reviews have pointed out. Another standout: I called PlexiDor during the Covid pandemic not expecting to get anybody , promptly got a REAL PERSON!, extremely knowledgeable, who walked us through my question about re”fluffing” the 5 year old gasketing. It was still entirely intact ,just somewhat matted in one small area from oil from dogs’ coats. The rep gave us a simple cleaning technique which should suffice but also explained how to replace the gasket if we wanted to.

I bought two large dog PlexiDor about 5 years ago. I am extremely happy with the functioning of the products and my pets just love the easy access of going in and out at their leisure. I have to replace a broken spring on one of the doors recently and received immediate response when I called. The spring was sent to me free of charge with all the instructions on how to fix it, very helpful indeed! I recommend this product to any pet owners.

We purchased our first wall mounted door in 1996 for our home in MN. It performed exceptionally well in frigid sub-zero temperatures. In 2006 we purchased another for our AZ home; it works just as well in the extreme heat.

I love our dog door. Not sure the guy who installed it 10+ years ago knew what he was doing, but it didn’t leak air. Now I need to replace the moving parts and the fluff, but that is to be expected after 10+ years of 24/7 ballistic missile ins & outs by 9 of my own dogs, 15 cats, and 22 foster dogs (not all at once, I am only a little crazy). I got the BIGGEST door for my 125 pound GSD, and even my smallest dog (a 6lb Chiweenie) is able to go through it with no difficulty.
